An opaque gunmetal color.

Spoiled Nail Polish, China Glaze Dupes

Hey doll's
SO I just spent an hour tying up a well informed review of Spoiled brand nail polish and comparing some of them to China Glaze, and then my computer decides to shut down and blogger deciedes not to automatically save anything but the FUCKING TITLE!!! So instead of the well informed review that was originally planned here are a bunch of pics. Hopefully I can upload them before I throw my laptop out of the window.

China Glaze Avalanche

Avalanche is a really pretty gun metal color with purple undertones. I love love love loved my SH gunmetal polish, but I’ve had it for several years and it was finally starting to run out so I decided to get this to replace it. I think I like this better than the SH, because of the purple tint it has. I layered of a white polish because it was kind of shear. I think you can get away with 2 coats I just prefer the way it looked with the white underneath.

Index 2 coats, middle on top of black, ring on top of white

Crackkkkkkkkkkk

So Crackle Nail Polish is all the rage in the nail world these days, but I remember Cover Girl use to make Crackle when I was younger. I guess it just goes to show ya, what goes around comes around. I think I want the Pink(Broken Hearted) and the Grey(Cracked Concrete).

OPI also makes a black one called Black Shatter, by Katy Perry and since China GLaze doesn't have black I might have to break down and purchase my first ever OPI color.

Jumping Jade

I love this Sally Hansen's insta dri polishs for quick before work mani's. They are a thick formula and they dry in no time, Only downside is they cost about 4.50 which is more then I like to pay for polish.

Polyester Pink

I took my press ons off about a week ago to give my real nails a chance to breathe. I will probably re apply my mails next week, but on the mean time I am loving this N.Y.C polyester pink. You really can't beat it for the price even though its a bit runny and takes longer to dry than I would like, it was only .94. A white base and 2 coats did the trick...

NOTW: Black, White and Red all over

I was slacking and forgot to take a pic of what I used but all really need is Red, Black and White polish.

1. Paint Nail Red

2. Paint half of your nail black at an angle.

(it doesn't have to be perfect just free style it.)

3.Paint a white line to separate the 2 colors

I rocked it like this for a day then I painted over it with the black. I felt like it was a lot for me but if you like it that way then go for it!!

Nail Swatches!

Ok so I have been OBSESSED with painting my nails so much so that I have changed them everyday for the past week, then it hit me.. SWATCHES!! So this way I can practice new nail designs while enjoying my manicures longer. Basically what I did was pull the one of the cotton ends off of a Qtip and glued a fake nail(one that doesn't fit any off my nails) to the end. Then I let it dry for a min and then went crazy. Here are the first of many swatches to come

Oh and incase you were wondering, these are the Nails I use...

and here is where I keep My swatches

Oh and Here's my mani for the week

here's what I used.

NYC 130A Classic Coral Creme, NYC 108A Polyester Pink, Sinful Colors 832 This is It.
- 1 coat of clear base coat
- 1 coat of pink
- 2 coats of coral
- 1 coat of gold

once everything was dry I added a sticker to each thumb from my Broadway Sticker kit. It looks like this.

I like this simple spring look I am going to try to make a franken polish with these two colors I hope it turns out as nice as it looks when I layer them

My favorite things, MARCH 2010

As you ladies who follow my blog on the regular know that I have been loving nail polish this a lot last month so I figured I would do a favorite things on a few of my favorite polishes. They are in no particular order.

1. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in 22 Gunmetal. I have had this for a really long time and I love it as much as I did when I bought it.

2.Sally Hansen Insta Dri in 22 Jumpin Jade. I love the color and I LOVE LOVE that it dries so quickly. It is great for those quick mani's that you don't really have the time to wait for them to dry. 1 coat is also all you really need although I still use 2. But the reason I love it the most is because of the brush. It has a super thick brush that I can't get enough of. I will definiatily be adding more insta dry polishes to my collection, the only thing is that they are about 5 bucks a pop instead of my normal Sinful Colors 2 dollar price point.

3. Rimmel French TIp Pro White. I also Love this also because of the tip. It is skinny so it make doing nail designs so simple and although I have a few other skinny tip polishing I just keep reaching for this one.

4. Sinful Colors 105 Midnight Blue. sinful colors is far and away my favorite polish brand. I love the color range, the price and the quality. This blue is probably the polish I have worn most this month on my nails.

5. Sinful Colors in 923 Queen of Beauty. Next to Midnight Blue this is my second most worn color. It adds glam to most any color and I love that it is a sparkle you can build upon. For some of my manis I love a lot of glitter and others I like just a touch. Its less messy than loose glitter and faster for beginners like me.

6. Sinful Colors 103 Black on Black As you probably can tell I am really into dark colors on my nails so its no suprise that black would make the list.

*Honorable Mentions*
These are polishes that I love, but aren't really my favorites. they are definantly great spring colors too.

Sinful Colors: 369 Ruby Ruby, 387 Bali Mist, 32 Cha Cha Red, and Funky Fingers In Bizerk Turq

Turquoise and White Zebra Stripes

I did my nails today...

Colors used: Funky Fingers Bizerk Turq, Rimmel London French White Tip Pro, Sinful Colors, Queen of Beauty and Nail Hardener.

- 1 Coat of clear polish as a base
- 2 Coats of Bizerk Turq (let dry)
- 1 more coats of hardener(let dry)
- I started at the base of my nail making white squiggly lines with the White. The brush is actually a thin tip so it made the application easy.(Let dry)
- Then took my costal scents lip brush that I HATE, used it to apply the Sinful Colors Queen of beauty randomly in between the whit lines.
- 2 More coats of clean to seal everything in and Volia...

I really like this look. I am going to try to make it last till the weekend because we are all going out for a friends birthday, and I'm not sure if I can repeat this lol...
